2019 Competition Season
Wow, we can’t believe Elle is already nearly halfway through her gymnastics competition season. Since she missed most of her season last year, due to a broken toe and a back injury, Elle is very grateful to be out there competing all 4 events again!

Happy New Year!
Just wanted to pop on and say that I’ve been training hard over the past few months, and my gymnastics competitive season is about to start. I can’t wait to compete my new Level 8 routines!

2017 National Youth Championship
On June 23, 2017, Elle competed in Atlanta, GA, at the 2017 USAW National Youth Championship. Elle went up a weight class this year, competing in the 35kg class as a 13U. She had an unusual miss on her first snatch attempt, at 29kg. However, Elle made all the rest of her lifts, snatching 31kg and clean & jerking 38kg, for a meet Total of 69kg.
Elle was awarded the silver medal in the snatch, and the bronze in the Total!
My Weightlifting Clinic
Event announcement! I’m having an Olympic weightlifting clinic on June 11, 2017! Come train with me and my coach before I head to my second National Youth Championship. The Road to Youth Nationals
With her double gymnastics season complete, Elle’s focus now switches to her journey to the 2017 USAW National Youth Championship. This year, Nationals is being held in Atlanta, GA, the weekend of June 23.
Elle has been training hard, as usual, and she and her coach are looking forward to competing again! Her goal is to secure another National Championship.
Region 1 Level 7 Championships
On April 20, 2017, Elle competed in her first Regional Championship, in Pomona, CA. She had an amazing meet, capped off by a season-high beam routine that scored 9.625. This got her the silver medal for beam. Her results were:
Vault 9.100
Bars 9.025
Beam 9.625* 2nd
Floor 9.300 6th
AA 37.050 9th place
With her first Optional season finished, Elle looks forward to continuing to train for Level 8! Her next competitive season starts in January 2018. Elle trains 22-24 hours per week with her team.
NorCal State Championship
On April 1, 2017, Elle competed at the NorCal State Championship. Elle had a great meet with a second place beam finish, scoring 9.450! Her results were:
Vault 8.950 13th
Bars 9.225 4th
Beam 9.450 2nd
Floor 9.175 9th
AA 36.800 7th place
